Place tables and chairs under or beside the tent so older guests and parents have a cool seat. Keep a clear walking path between the food table, the restroom, and the play area.
If you are also renting a water slide, keep the splash zone outside the tent so wet feet are not tracking through the seating area.
Food tables love a roof
A tent over the food line keeps trays cooler, cake frosting happier, and drinks from warming up as fast. Leave room for people to walk both sides of the table when they can. Put trash and recycling near the exit of the food line so the seating area stays tidy.
Light rain vs a real storm
