Gunter City Park is on West Elm Street, and the City of Gunter's own FAQ says Gunter Park is public and cannot be reserved. That makes a private yard the simplest place for an inflatable. We set up in backyards and park pavilions around Gunter; check the park's own rules and reservation first if you are thinking about a public space.

Gunter received a $75,000 matching grant from Texas Parks and Wildlife to build a large covered pavilion at Gunter City Park. The city's last published note said staff would meet the state in March 2024 to discuss a construction timeline, and we have not seen a completion date since. If you are counting on covered shade in the park, call the city's Parks and Public Services office before planning around it. A backyard with a tent or a shade tree is the surer bet for a summer party.

If your yard is fenced like the ones in our photos, measure your gate before booking: if you have a gate we require a 3ft wide opening to fit your inflatable. Tell us about slopes, sprinkler heads or low branches when you text, and send a quick yard photo if you can.
